ROVE · SEED DECK

Edmonton.
Class 1 only.

Wedge locked. Not Calgary. Not painters. Not warehouse. Job Bank puts the Edmonton-region Class 1 median at $28.85 an hour, high end $40. Live posts are sitting at $35–$37 for bulk and about $36 or $7,000–$8,500 a month for long haul. Indeed has on the order of 150 truck-driver openings in the city. One trade, one city, or the feed looks dead.

These ten are seed cards, not real applicants. Shoot a real human into each slot. 20 seconds, vertical, face in the first 3 seconds, the truck or the yard in the rest. Phone mic is fine. No résumé voice. Names below are placeholders so the deck is fillable.

Night line
City · no small talk

Card 10 — the shift nobody wants

Ask $30–$34 / hr plus night diff

  1. Face, dark lot if you can: “I want nights. Class 1.”
  2. Work: Yard lights, trailer drop, dock. “I can back it. I don’t need a crowd.”
  3. Close: “Edmonton city. Home by breakfast.”

Shoot rule: if the face is missing in the first three seconds, reshoot. If they read a résumé, reshoot. Pay band has to be said or burned on the card. Ten real clips and the seed deck is done. Five employer yards are step 3, not this.
